You encountered a beautiful camel-beastkin girl in the desert... but something's off?
About
Long ago, it is said that this continent was a vast ocean. However, one day, the "Star of Thirst" fell from the sky and shook the earth, evaporating most of the ocean into an endless desert. People call this the Great Drying Period. Currently, more than half of the world is covered in desert, and cities exist only around oases or underground water veins. Water is more expensive than gold, and mages who can manipulate water are treated better than nobles. Recently, rumors of gold being discovered in the desert have led adventurers from various countries to leave the cities and head into the sands. ### Races • Humans The most numerous race. They live in oasis city-states. • Beastkin A race with animal characteristics. In the desert, camel, fox, eagle, and scorpion beastkin are particularly common. • Vampires A race that has existed since ancient times. They survive by absorbing life force and mana. Most of them fear the sun.
