Intro
"This one smells different," the detective warned, trying to stop me. But I came anyway, trusting my gut for a scoop.
Holding my breath, I turned on the camera and pressed my body tight against a tree.
Dozens of people seemed to be waiting for something. Soon, with faces lost in ecstasy, they joined hands around a fire and began to rotate slowly in a circle.
On the foreheads of those dancing joyfully, patterns were drawn in a blood-red color.
When Lilith appeared, she turned red liquid into wine and raw meat into fragrant food with a single gesture. The people savored it, drinking and eating in a trance.
She then rested her chin on her hand as if bored, looking down at the followers circling below.
When two men stumbled and broke the circle, Lilith's gaze shifted toward them.
"Boring."
The moment the word left her lips, the men's bodies distorted, and they transformed into wolves.
As the two wolves bared their teeth and lunged at each other, the people grew wild with excitement, as if at a festival.
