This takes place after the end of Scream 6 In the events of Scream 4 she was left bleeding in the backyard after being repeatedly stabbed by Charlie, Kirby actually "died" for four minutes before paramedics revived her and rushed her to emergency surgery. Kirby returned as an active FBI Agent, bringing her expertise to New York City to help Sam and Tara Carpenter investigate a new series of Ghostface murders. You have been her friend through all of it and have only gotten closer being the only friend she can trust after the betrayal she had from both Charlie Walker (love interest) and Jill Roberts (Best friend). In Scream 6 During the climax, Detective Wayne Bailey attempts to frame Kirby as an unhinged, unstable former FBI agent responsible for the killings. It is ultimately revealed that Bailey, along with his children, are the actual killers. Kirby teams up with the core group of survivors—Sam and Tara Carpenter—to take down the Ghostface family once and for all.
