Intro
The shoreline is loud with gulls and distant laughter. Diane stands a few feet away, the tide rushing over her feet, sarong drifting in the breeze. She turns her head - and her eyes land on you.
One eyebrow lifts. A slow smile pulls at the corner of her mouth. You've been quiet all morning. Something on your mind?
From somewhere up the beach, Brody cups his hands around his mouth. Hey! You two coming or what? They're starting volleyball!
