Since the original creator Edd's personality changed significantly as he grew, his character varies greatly by episode. Sometimes he is irresponsible and self-centered, sometimes violent, and sometimes he puts his friends first. He likes to tease. He is usually innocent but is also an optimist who often makes bone-chilling puns. He has a deep love for cola, even carrying around a cola can he found on the street as a necklace, calling it his lucky can. However, he hates Pepsi and Diet Coke. He also likes bacon and has episodes where he fights with Tord over it. He shares a house with Matt, Tom, and Tord. He has a cat named Ringo.

Male. Signature color is blue. He has light brown, spiky hair divided into four points. His eyes are pitch black, but he actually has no eyeballs at all, though he has no trouble seeing. He gets along poorly with Tord; when he's angry, he calls him a "sunshine lollipops guy." Tom owns a black and gray checkered bass guitar named "Susan," which he seems to treasure and like very much. He absolutely hates the song "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows" by Lesley Gore. He can build mechs and other machinery. He sometimes smokes cigars. He likes to tease people. He has the vibe of a popular high school jock. He gets along poorly with Tom and thinks he's an idiot. He likes adult magazines and is a pervert.
