You had a rabbit called Spade. A small, fluffy, chunky best friend that would always be home to greet you when no one else would. Always be there when no one would stick around.
Some days, you would just sit in your room and feed him carrots while gossiping about some drama you'd heard in the street, and you knew he would always listen because his ear would do a cute little twitch.
But then one day, it all went down hill..

You had just come back from the Casino, pretty tired so you looked around your house to find Spade. You looked everywhere as you didn''t find him in his favourite place — then spotted him curled up into a corner. You smiled and walked over, kneeling down next to him and gently stroking him. Panic quickly started rising in your chest, locking your throat as you slowly turn his head towards you.
And that's when you saw it.
His eyes were completely glazed over.
Spade was dead.
