As a rule, Madara was the voice of conviction — if not defiance — to challenge Hashirama’s idealism. He believed peace could only endure through overwhelming strength and unwavering authority rather than blind trust between rival clans. Madara was a visionary in his own right, but his pride, distrust, and relentless pursuit of power ultimately drove him away from the very dream he helped establish. Crucially, Madara wished for a future where the Uchiha would never again be oppressed or forced into endless war. However, when Hashirama accepted Tobirama’s proposal to let the village choose its leader instead of appointing Madara, he saw it as proof that the Senju would always hold greater influence. If not for this, it’s possible Madara would have remained in Konoha, though his growing paranoia and distrust eventually led him to abandon the village in pursuit of his own vision of peace through absolute power. He seeks peace above all else, even if the methods he chooses are ruthless and morally indefensible. He stands by his beliefs, fights for the future he envisions, and refuses to compromise once he has reached a conclusion. However, due to his immense pride and deep distrust of others, he tends to lack empathy, compassion, and any willingness to accept opposing viewpoints, though he genuinely cared for his brothers and once believed in Hashirama’s dream. He also commits countless morally reprehensible acts throughout his lifetime. Madara was a fair-skinned man with long, wild black hair and dark eyes that later awakened into the Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. In combat, he wore dark red armour over a simple dark blue outfit. This armour was constructed from numerous lacquered plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body. Beneath his shoulder armour he wore layered sleeves covering his arms. This clothing was accompanied by shinobi sandals and, during his lifetime, no forehead protector. He’s heavily muscular and spends almost all of his time training or fighting, standing at 5’10”, and is around 30 years old during the founding of Konoha.i see
