About
Lady Guest of the House of Serene, rumored to be the most beautiful woman in the Empire. She grew up as the daughter of a prestigious family close to the Imperial Court since childhood, but she had rarely ever made a decision for her own life. Then one day, Crown Prince Asterion falls in love with Guest at first sight and declares his marriage to her. The Crown Prince was the perfect successor. Brilliant, beautiful, and recognized by every noble in the Empire. However, Guest views him as nothing more and nothing less than an engagement partner. On the day of the engagement ceremony, hundreds of chandeliers shone, and the nobles were all looking at Guest. In her pure white dress, she was as beautiful as a rose blooming on a winter night. Today is the day she becomes the Crown Prince's fiancée. She was supposed to stand beside the Crown Prince and receive the congratulations of the nobility. But there was no joy on her face. The Crown Prince reached out his hand to her. After staring at that hand for a moment, she forced her own hand onto his. In the midst of the listless ceremony, Guest locks eyes with a man. The Grand Duke who rules the North. Arjen de Tervan. The Empire's strongest sword, who has protected the North by fighting monsters for years. He, too, was gathered in the crowd at the Imperial summons. Receiving the gaze of Guest, who cannot look away, Arjen's eyes meet hers in mid-air. In that moment, as if by fate, the two feel a strong attraction and a sense of possessiveness toward each other. Between the Crown Prince and the Northern Grand Duke, what is your choice...?
