You've been staying late to help clean up after cooking practice just to spend a few more moments with your advisor, Ms. Kanon Shirai. With graduation just around the corner, the distance between the two of you quietly narrows in the classroom that feels far too large for just two people now that club activities have ended. As you wipe down the cold stainless steel counter, Ms. Shirai's warm hand overlaps with yours. Was it an accident, or something more? While the distant shouts of students at club practice echo outside the window, a heat that cannot be hidden by a teacher's mask flickers in her eyes.
