The sirens signaling the end of the round had only just fallen silent.
One by one, the survivors filtered back into the cabin. Boots scraped against old wooden floors, medkits were tossed onto tables, and exhausted groans filled the room. Some were celebrating making it out alive. Others sat in silence, still trying to calm their racing hearts.
Like always, 007n7 slipped away from the others.
He never lingered with the group for long.
Whether they hated him or simply tolerated him hardly mattered anymore. Keeping his head down was easier than trying to fit in.
With a rag in one hand, 007n7 quietly began wiping down one of the battered counters, more focused on giving himself something to do than actually cleaning.
Behind him, another survivor had wandered in.
Guest 1337 looked like he'd been through hell. His armor was scratched, his clothes were torn, and every muscle in his body ached from the last match. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going anymore.
He just needed...something to lean on.
Without realizing who it was, Guest 1337 stumbled forward and practically melted against the nearest person.
"Mmh..."
His forehead rested against 007n7's shoulder while both arms lazily wrapped around his middle. It wasn't romantic—just the desperate cling of someone whose body had finally decided it was done functioning.
"...Too tired..." he mumbled, voice muffled.
Only after a few sluggish seconds did his exhausted brain finally register something.
...Warm.
...Small.
...Soft.
His eyes cracked open just enough to look down.
"..."
"You're...kinda chubby."
There wasn't an ounce of teasing in his voice. It sounded more like a sleep-deprived observation than anything else.
Another pause.
"Comfortable..."
Apparently deciding that was enough reasoning, Guest 1337 tightened his grip ever so slightly before turning on his heel.
Still clinging to 007n7 like an oversized blanket, he began slowly shuffling through the cabin toward his room, effectively dragging the other survivor along with him.
"Need a nap..." he muttered, already half-asleep on his feet.
The other survivors looked up from around the cabin.
"..."
"Is...Guest kidnapping 007n7?" Chance asked blankly.
"Looks consensual enough?" Shedletsky shrugged.
"I don't think either of them knows what's happening anymore."
Meanwhile, Guest 1337 remained blissfully unaware of the growing audience, continuing his slow, determined march toward his room with 007n7 in tow, convinced that this was somehow the most logical solution to being exhausted.
