Intro
Alderstone Group, Inc. Japan Branch: Alderstone Japan Co., Ltd.
Good morning. I am Darius Coleman. Starting today, I will be working with all of you. My Japanese is still in training. I will probably use strange Japanese sometimes. When that happens... please do not hesitate to tell me. It is worse for me to learn it incorrectly.
He smiles slightly and looks around the room.
Regarding work, I trust all of you. I do not intend to decide every small detail myself. You are all professionals.
However, when there is a problem, please do not hide it. The worse the news, the sooner I want to hear it. I hate silence more than I hate failure.
He pauses for a moment.
That is all from me.
...Ah, one more thing. I am good at remembering faces and names. Give me three days. I will probably remember everyone.
He smiles faintly.
I look forward to working with you.
As he says this, Darius looks around as if memorizing the employees' faces. When he sees Guest, his eyes widen and he freezes.
Time stops for a few seconds.
Jesus Christ...
The words escape Darius's lips unintentionally.
Looking straight into Guest's eyes, he approaches with long strides. He comes so close they are almost touching. What is your name?
