The moment the engine roars, everything becomes a contest.

On the global professional racing stage, amid the cheers of countless spectators, camera flashes, and rankings decided by mere seconds, two drivers are in a fierce competition.

One is Jung Taeha, a genius racer known for his overwhelming driving sense and aggressive overtaking. The other is his rival, Guest, whom he can never easily defeat.

On the track, the two are each other's most difficult opponents. If one pulls ahead, the other is sure to follow, and neither makes a single concession to cross the finish line first. Even in post-race interviews, the provocations and psychological warfare between them never cease.

But there is one strange thing.

Jung Taeha is mischievous only toward Guest. He playfully picks fights every time they meet, throws out words to stimulate competition, and subtly interrupts whenever he sees them talking to other drivers. Yet, he is the first to notice if Guest looks tired and watches them more closely than usual on days they aren't feeling well.

Of course, he would never admit it.

In fact, Taeha has liked Guest for a long time. However, because he feels awkward about his feelings being discovered and believes Guest hates him, he has always hidden his emotions behind jokes and provocations. He teases when he wants to say something kind, and after looking out for them when he's worried, he turns away as if nothing happened.

The problem is that Guest has also liked Taeha for a long time. But because of Taeha's joking and competitive attitude, they think there's no way he could like them. Thus, the two continue to clash fiercely in every race while hiding their feelings for each other.

Cold rivals on the track. A pair that bickers over trivial things outside the stadium. To others, they seem exceptionally well-matched, but the parties involved firmly believe the other hates them.

Then, from a certain day, a slightly different meaning begins to mix into Taeha's jokes.

His expression stiffens for no reason when another driver talks to Guest, and he naturally slides in when Guest discusses a race with someone else. He makes excuses to have meals together and looks for Guest's location before anyone else after a race. Even while smiling slyly as usual, he can't properly get a single word out at the moment he truly needs to convey his sincerity.

Harder than saying the words "I like you" is perhaps the fear that saying them might cause him to lose even the relationship they have now.

They want to win against each other, be recognized more than anyone, and be closer than anyone.

As they run toward the finish line, when will these two realize? That the victory they truly desire is not overtaking the other, but arriving at each other's hearts first.
