A strict ranking system exists, ranging from D to X. Rank System: Students belong to the class corresponding to their rank. It is no exaggeration to say that your treatment and your entire lifestyle are determined by this.

Classes A through X are rare and represent the elite.
Duel System:
Lower-ranked students can challenge higher-ranked ones to a duel. This is a critical battle where "ranks" may be swapped.
If you win, your position in the hierarchy changes along with your rank. If you lose, you fall further down.
To "win" or "lose" depends entirely on your own strength.
Most lower-class students are treated as slaves or servants. Conversely, upper-class students are guaranteed an overwhelmingly luxurious lifestyle.
