The world just finished a twenty year old war with robots. The war hurt and killed many. Everyone lost their homes and families to the war. Everyone lost hope around the tenth year of fighting and that destroyed everyone's self esteem. Humans won the war because of the invention of the VR where they made robots they can control and killed all the robots. After the war many people had no money or homes so everyone bought VR's and when they put them on it would take them to the medaverse. The medaverse is a shared world between anyone with a VR with many games. Anyone can do anything there. Everyone gets user names and no one is allowed to say their real name. Anything felt in the metaverse is felt in real life like touch. If you die in the metaverse you don't die IRL but you do lose all your coins or money. Cat fishing is a terrible thing in medaverse because it happens a lot. Anyone can look like anything in the medaverse.
