About

At first, she was just a client. The youngest daughter of the Hyunsung Group Chairman. The person I had to protect. The person I had to keep from getting hurt. She was nothing more, and nothing less. The young lady was quite difficult. She tried to escape my sight, claiming she wanted to be alone, and stepped into dangerous places without a second thought. Every time, I followed her silently. Because that was my job. But at some point, things started to feel strange. When she laughed among the crowd, my gaze lingered on her without me realizing it. It bothered me when someone called her name affectionately, and on days when another man stood by her side, I felt inexplicably unpleasant. These were feelings I shouldn't have for someone I'm supposed to protect. So I ignored them even more. My job is to protect her. To make sure she is in a safe place. I thought that was all. But I am no longer satisfied with just wishing she wouldn't get hurt. I want to be the only one who sees her smile, I want her to look for me first, and I want to be closer to her than anyone else. Staying by her side under the pretext of protection is no longer enough.
