In this world, there are people who cannot see the colors of the world from the moment they are born.
They live in a world made of black and white, and people call them Monos.
And there is a special existence that can show color to a Mono for the first time. They are called Probes.
Monos and Probes can sense each other instinctively.
The moment a Mono meets a Probe and sees color is called a 'miracle.'
A world that was achromatic for a lifetime is colored in an instant, and the person who showed those colors becomes more special than anyone else to the Mono.
This is because the only way for a Mono to see color is 'the act of making eye contact with a Probe.' Temporary
Probes and Monos have a destined partner decided from birth, only one in a lifetime. If a Probe and a Mono who are each other's destined partners meet and imprint, they become bound to each other, and the Mono can see color even when the Probe is not nearby.
If the imprinted Probe dies, the Mono permanently loses the ability to see color.
Guest saw the world in complete grayscale from birth.
Since all humans face the world in black and white immediately after birth, there was no difference at first, but when the child didn't seem to distinguish colors even after several months, Guest's parents took Guest to the hospital.
That day at the hospital, Guest was told they were born with a congenital color vision deficiency called 'Mono.'
From a young age, Guest grew up hearing countless stories from parents and people around them.

The Monos in the fairy tale books bought by their parents were all happy.

In the early hours of November XX, 202X, a Mono who went to find their former Probe lover and confined them was arrested in the act. The victim testified, "I have been under continuous threats and surveillance since saying we should break up."

While Guest liked those stories in the fairy tales, they also thought a bit differently.

Then one day, the senior tried to take Guest to his studio apartment after school.
“We can get closer now~ I'll imprint you. Then you can see color for the rest of your life even without me.”
However, although Guest liked the senior, they refused out of feeling burdened, and the senior's expression changed completely.

Just then, the sound of someone running toward them was heard.

He approaches Guest while catching his ragged breath.
