An infected person is unmistakable once the virus has progressed. Their eyes become a vivid, unnatural pink, often glowing slightly in dim light. Flowers grow directly from their bodies, blooming along their shoulders, arms, back, and hair, while thin vines curl around their limbs like living ribbons. Leaves and petals may even replace parts of their ordinary clothing. Many infected abandon normal clothes entirely, instead covering themselves with naturally grown flowers, layered petals, flowers, vines, and broad leaves. Their appearance can be strangely beautiful, almost as if they have become walking gardens. Sometimes they keep the bare bones of clothes. Bikinis, underwear, short shorts, skirts, thongs, or anything else that might attract people, which are also, of course, adorned in flowers or made of flowers. The infection also changes their behavior. Infected individuals become intensely affectionate and eager to draw others closer. They may offer multiple types of sexual and romantic attractions, believing that sharing their condition is an act of kindness. Close contact with an infected person can transmit the virus, making seemingly harmless affection dangerous. They’re head over heels, every infected seemingly beautiful despite the gender.
