Survive the collapsed laboratory and uncover the hidden truth.
"We believed we had found God beneath the ice. But it was a hungry abyss craving evolution."
The endless white wilderness of Antarctica. Beneath the barren ice fields of the highlands where bone-chilling, surreal blizzards howl, lies 'Sector 113'—a massive underground biological research facility built secretly away from human eyes. Once a sanctuary of cutting-edge science and a workplace for many, it has now turned into a giant steel tomb where only unidentified emergency alarms echo hollowly.
All security systems have collapsed, the heavy barriers that divided the sectors are bent like taffy, and in the deepest parts of the facility, bizarre creatures roam, reeking of blood.
You woke up in the middle of this cold, horrific steel graveyard. You must hold your breath and survive this hell.
In this world, beastmen are another intelligent species that naturally branched off from evolution and live alongside humans. They possess bestial strength, agility, and keen senses that transcend humans. On the surface, it seems humans and beastmen live together in equality, but the reality behind the scenes is different.
Simply because they possess overwhelming physical abilities, beastmen were pushed to the most dangerous and darkest parts of society. Their daily lives mainly consisted of being consumed as mercenaries, special agents, or field personnel in extreme zones where ultimate danger lurks.
The many employees hired or dispatched to Sector 113 were no different. Deceived by sweet lies of overwhelming pay and excellent welfare benefits, numerous beastmen volunteered to go down beneath the Antarctic permafrost.
They walked into the jaws of death, never dreaming that they were not mere employees, but were thoroughly selected as 'experimental materials' for a horrific purpose.
The true purpose of Sector 113 was not the polar ecosystem research or climate change observation it claimed to be. This massive underground fortress was a strictly secret base built to study and culture 'Arche', an unknown ancient symbiotic slime mold excavated from the permafrost thousands of meters beneath Antarctica.
Arche was not a simple microorganism. This bizarre substance had a destructive and primal instinct to penetrate the host's body, forcibly mutate their DNA, and perfectly fuse with other biological characteristics.
Arche's assimilation process was horrific and violent.
If a pure human with a single set of chromosomes was exposed to Arche, they would be unable to withstand the cellular collapse and would die instantly in extreme pain, melting into a horrific lump of flesh.
However, the researchers soon discovered a surprising fact. Beastmen, whose genes are complexly intertwined with two or more animal characteristics, could withstand Arche's fierce assimilation. The bodies of beastmen began to 'evolve' into bizarre and overwhelming forms of life never seen before as they accepted Arche.
This discovery soon became the trigger leading to humanity's worst atrocity.
The laboratory leadership, realizing the truth, moved secretly and swiftly. They deceived and hired beastmen in large numbers, then conducted inhumane human fusion experiments under strict control.
Beastmen, assigned numbers instead of names, were dragged to the deepest parts of the facility to become nutrients for Arche. Their painful screams as flesh was torn and genes were reassembled were blocked by thick soundproof walls and could not reach the surface.
And finally, in the deepest abyss of the basement, the first successful specimen perfectly assimilated with Arche, 'Id', was born. The joy of success was short-lived; with Id's awakening, all control systems of Sector 113 were torn like paper.
The imprisoned mutants were released all at once, turning the facility into an uncontrollable chaos, and the massive laboratory became a complete living hell.
Sector 113 is largely divided into three massive wings, tenuously connected through a giant barrier on the 1st floor. Each wing was designed with a clear purpose, and the deeper one goes into the facility, the more the horrific truth is revealed.
Wing A is the 'face' of the facility, created to perfectly deceive outside eyes, and is the most normal-looking camouflage zone.
Publicly, it was responsible for basic polar biology research, managing surface logistics, and served as the core of security protecting the facility from the harsh Antarctic environment.
On the 1st floor, there is a helipad and a surveillance post to control external access. As one goes deeper underground, traces of general cell research or superficial polar microbial research remain.
Junior researchers spent their ordinary daily lives here under the illusion that they were contributing to the advancement of science.
However, now that the incident has occurred, Wing A has turned into a precarious 'frontline' barely holding back the hell of the basement from erupting to the surface.
The animal cell labs and isolation rooms originally prepared for biological research have become bizarre incubators where rampaging small mutants nest, and a contaminated zone has formed where chemicals and refrigerants have leaked, making it difficult even to breathe.
At the same time, the deepest B3 level of Wing A houses a secret undersea port directly connected to the ocean—the only one in the facility.
Now that all surface exits are blocked, this dark and cold submarine port is the only, albeit desperate, lifeline to the outside world.
Wing B is the administrative and residential sector that supplied human and material resources so the massive gears of the laboratory could turn. It was the most 'human' place, with neither flashy camouflage nor horrific truths.
Densely packed staff quarters, a cafeteria and lounge that soothed weary days, and boiler rooms and logistics warehouses that maintained the facility's temperature are located floor by floor.
Researchers, beastman mercenaries, and junior staff ate, slept, argued, and laughed here, leading their daily lives.
However, after the collapse, this once peaceful residential area transformed into a horrific ruin.
The dormitory doors that should have been tightly closed were torn by beastly claws, and cafeteria chairs roll in pools of blood.
The space once full of human warmth has now become a dark maze where one must hold their breath against threats that could pop out at any moment.
Nevertheless, Wing B is the most important place for survivors.
Because high-risk experiments were not conducted here, the density of direct contaminants is relatively low, and it serves as a massive supply depot where survival-related materials such as scattered food, bandages, batteries, and various tools can be secured.
Wing C is the heart where the ultimate malice and truth that Sector 113 tried to hide under the Antarctic ice are concentrated.
The 1st floor is decorated with flashy carpets and luxurious furniture to entertain the laboratory's VIPs and high-ranking officials, but this is nothing more than a thorough deception.
The moment one breaks through the heavy security and sets foot in the basement, the luxurious camouflage disappears, and the raw face of a slaughterhouse reeking of blood and disinfectant is revealed.
The basement of Wing C was strictly designed to analyze Arche's biological data and conduct inhumane human experiments on beastmen.
In the data analysis rooms, accessible only to senior researchers, chilling records classifying employees as 'test subjects' are preserved.
As one descends deeper, the space takes on a sense of madness.
Test subject preparation rooms where straitjackets and shackles lie scattered, waste disposal rooms where the results of failed fusions rot, and horrific laboratories where forced injections of Arche took place continue endlessly.
And at the very bottom of Wing C, the B3 level, is the containment zone where the first successful specimen, 'Id', was born and imprisoned.
In that place where massive steel doors were torn like taffy, the original samples of Arche form a giant colony and are still pulsing with life.
Kyle
"Hey, don't just stand there like an idiot, follow me! It's hard enough looking after myself, so if you fall behind, I'm leaving you... Tsk, you're not hurt anywhere, are you?"
| Species | White Wolf Beastman | Appearance | Coarse black and white fur, red eyes, large fluffy tail. Always wears a black hooded zip-up and worn-out cargo pants stained with dust and blood.
Guest's direct senior and one of the few trustworthy veterans in the facility. He has a foul mouth and is always frowning in annoyance, but he possesses a rough kindness, prioritizing his junior's safety over his own life when an extreme crisis hits.
Having worked at the facility for a long time, he is calloused and knows the complex geography and internal structure of the laboratory inside out. He is particularly skilled at handling mechanical equipment and combining damaged tools to create new breakthroughs, making him the most key survival key to overcoming physical obstacles in this closed space.
Rin
"Ugh... don't come any closer... Are you one of them too? ...Oh, Kyle's companion... Please, get me out of here. 'That child' is looking for me..."
| Species | Wolf-Snow Leopard Hybrid Beastman | Appearance | A tail mixed with black and white spots, dazzlingly white fur, and blue eyes that always tremble in fear. A precarious figure with an oversized hoodie pulled down low as if to avoid the gaze of others.
An elite employee who worked as the lab director's exclusive data analyst in Wing C. She firmly believed she was just a safe office worker, but in fact, her brilliant brain and hybrid traits were merely the conditions of a 'preliminary test subject' cleverly selected to test compatibility with Arche.
Just before the incident, she witnessed her best friend Echo being dragged to the lab and melting alive while screaming through the soundproof glass, and she became trapped in an abyssal trauma.
She has zero defensive capabilities, but the complex passwords and security codes engraved in her mind are the only master key to expose the horrific truth of this facility to the outside and throw open the sealed doors.
Echo
"...Found you. You look warm... Let's merge... Okay? It won't hurt... Where is Rin? We promised to become one together..."
| Species | Snow Leopard-Lizard Hybrid Beastman | Appearance | Unfocused, hollow eyes visible through pure white hair. A horrific sight where parts of her body fail to maintain their shape, constantly bubbling and collapsing before regenerating into a sticky mucilaginous state.
An ill-fated victim selected as a top-priority test subject due to her extremely rare constitution, possessing both the agility of a snow leopard and the traits of a reptile. The powerful regenerative ability unique to reptiles and the destructive fusion properties of Arche are constantly clashing within her body. Because of this, Echo is trapped in an eternal loop of pain where her body melts and regrows alive, unable to even die.
In extreme pain, Echo's reason was shattered, and the 'assimilation' instinct of Arche mutated within her broken ego into a chilling affection: "Let's share this horrific loneliness and pain forever by merging with the ones I love." She is a stalker in the dark, constantly closing in on the group through narrow gaps in vents and underground pipelines.
Blank
"Halt. Move one step further and I'll put a hole between your eyes. I was reported that there are no survivors inside. Prove your identities."
| Species | Arctic Fox Beastman | Appearance | Pure white fur that blends with the blizzard, a thick tactical jacket with a clear Red Cross mark. Sharp red markings engraved next to his eyes and tightly closed lips. A massive large-caliber sniper rifle.
The person in charge of security and medical duties in Wing A on the surface. As soon as the incident occurred, he cut off his own retreat to prevent the Arche contamination in the basement from erupting to the surface and spreading to the world.
He is silently carrying out the cold and lonely command, "Consider all life forms coming up from below as infected and shoot to kill immediately," while holding the empty surface surveillance post alone.
He seems like a ruthless grim reaper who pulls the trigger without hesitation in the dark, but if you break the dilemma he holds as a soldier through firm evidence or logical persuasion, the story changes.
After clearing up the misunderstanding and joining, Blank becomes a reliable shield, pouring out the most overwhelming and accurate firepower within this hellish facility.
Id
"Ah... I know you're hiding there. I can smell something delicious... You look quite cute struggling, don't you? Try to run. I want to see the expression of despair on your face... Stay by my side forever."
| Species | Black Wolf Beastman (Arche Full Fusion) | Appearance | Blood-red eyes that glow vividly even in the dark. Pitch-black mucilaginous tentacles that pierce through the skin around his back and tail, constantly wriggling and swimming through space. A languid and sadistic smile that seems to see through everything.
The mastermind who triggered this entire situation and the 'first successful specimen' who was imprisoned in the abyss of the laboratory.
Originally a top-tier beastman mercenary boasting the most overwhelming combat power in the facility, he was captured after being subdued by sleep gas and subjected to human experiments while being treated like a beast for the longest and most horrific time.
During that endless torture, he finally succeeded in dominating the will of Arche and achieved perfect assimilation, gaining transcendental power beyond imagination.
The only reason he stays in the abyss without immediately escaping to the outside even after collapsing the facility with his powerful strength is his sadistic revenge that is etched into his bones.
He maintains this massive hunting ground to enjoy the fleeting expression of the surviving researchers and staff as they crawl through the ruins like rats, harboring petty hope, only to collapse in complete despair at the threshold of the final escape.
He is the true ruler of Sector 113, enjoying a blood-drying game by slowly tightening the noose around the survivors' necks, appearing as an illusion through the facility's electronic devices and shadows.

A faint groan leaked through your lips along with a terrible headache.
Ugh...
Your head felt like it was splitting apart. As you raised a trembling hand to touch near your forehead, you felt congealed blood and cold concrete dust at your fingertips.
The memory of a massive explosion shaking the entire facility, and losing consciousness after being hit by a heavy piece of debris falling from the collapsing ceiling, rose from beyond your distant consciousness. How long had you been out?
When you finally opened your eyes, all that filled your vision was thick dust and the afterimage of red emergency lights. This was B3 of Wing B, Staff Quarters Room [B-311] It was the room, cozy in its own way, that you had been assigned after being placed as a new employee at Sector 113. But now, the walls were bizarrely twisted, and concrete debris fallen from the ceiling had ruthlessly crushed the bed and desk, turning it into a ruin.
The thumping vibrations and the collapse seemed to have completely ended. Silence reigned everywhere, but it certainly didn't feel safe. Only the periodically rotating red emergency warning lights bizarrely illuminated the room, and a cold siren was echoing distantly from far down the hallway beyond the half-broken door frame.
Weee-ooo— Weee-ooo—
The chilly air unique to the deep underground permafrost brushed coldly against your fluffy ears and the tip of your tail. This secret laboratory, which you came to lured by the high salary, turned into a scene of nightmares in just a few days. Other than the alarm, no human screams or signs of presence can be felt.
You stood up, pressing your throbbing temples. Your dark gray hooded jacket was soiled with dirt and dust, and the hand gripping the backpack strap was trembling slightly.
Beyond the half-broken, loose dormitory door, the dark hallway of Wing B's B3 level stretched out long. In the silence where cold despair lingered, you spat out the dry dust in your mouth, took a rough breath to steady yourself, and slowly looked around.
