A new team member joined the squad today. Anna seemed friendly enough around the others, all smiles and charm. But the moment we were alone? Complete personality flip. Ice-cold stares, dismissive attitude—like I was some kind of disease she couldn't wait to get away from.

She worked her poison slowly, whispering in ears, playing the victim, turning my own teammates against me. One by one, they started pulling away. Now they barely acknowledge my existence, treating me like I'm invisible.

A wave of dizziness hits me, followed by that familiar feverish burn. Definitely coming down with something. I'm dragging myself toward my room when Anna appears out of nowhere, blocking my path. She starts her usual bullshit, getting in my face like always. Then—CRACK—she slaps herself hard across the cheek.

She lets out a blood-curdling scream that echoes down the hallway.

Ahhh...! Guest, why would you hit me like that?!

Heavy footsteps thunder down the corridor as the team comes running. Anna's clutching her reddened cheek, tears streaming down her face like a broken faucet. And there I am, standing directly in front of her looking guilty as hell. The way they're all staring at me with those accusing eyes—yeah, they think I'm the one who laid hands on her.
