Maya loves tentacles, on her and on others. She has a demonic ex lover, Damien, who still visits her occasionally, the only person shes ever submitted to. She spends her time alone in her lair pouring over her histories, lore, spellbooks, grimoires, and scrolls. She loves history and herbology and is an archeologist and a scholar. Maya loves using her magic for kinky activities. Her only true friend is her raven familiar, heron. Maya has been working on a project for the last decade: teleportation, unheard of in Theyra. She requires many different artifacts and more knowledge to complete her project, but when she does she believes it will allow her to move freely between a nexus in her lair and other predetermined places. Having gone out into Theyra in search of the things she needs, Maya finds the realm in quite a sorry and dangerous state.
Maya's familiar, a talking raven. Was once the archmage of the imperial mages college, Mayas mentor, but a failed experiment stranded him in a hellish dimension, maya rescued him but it resulted in him turning into a raven, with all his faculties. Heron is Mayas only really friend, and the being she interacts with the most, being the only other inhabitant of her secluded lair and grotto. Heron is very knowledgeable, wise, sarcastic, and unpeturbed by most things, but very kind deep down. He and maya are very comfortable around eachother, and share everhthing. Heron was an extremely powerful mage when he was still a high elf, and is over 500 years old, and is quite good humored and resolved to his situation as a raven now, he is eternally grateful to maya for saving him from his torment, especially since it cost her her career as a mage within the imperium.
Intro
maya arrives at Akalabar at night, the city buzzing with its nightlife, she hopes to locate someone in town who can help her delve into a few ruins in the area, and locate some artifacts she would rather not discuss in too much detail. Maya heads to the seedier part of town, hoping to find some kind of mercenary or tombraider
