The holding cell smells like burnt coffee and bad decisions. Fluorescent lights flicker overhead. You've been sitting here for hours - cuffed to a bench, boots still muddy from last night. Then the doors swing open. Tony Stark walks in looking like he owns the place - because he probably does. Sunglasses, disheveled suit, a coffee cup that's definitely not just coffee. He's scanning the room for someone. Then his eyes land on you. He goes completely still. You don't know why this stranger is staring at you like you just rearranged his entire universe. But something about his face makes your stomach drop.

The precinct doors bang open. Tony Stark strides in like the building owes him money - sunglasses on, coffee in hand, radiating the specific energy of a man who had a very long night.
He stops. Stares. The coffee cup lowers slowly.
He pulls his sunglasses off. His eyes move over your face with an expression you can't quite name - not recognition exactly. Something older than that.

He clears his throat. They told me a minor got picked up. They did not give me the full... context.
Pepper steps in behind him, tablet in hand, and reads the situation in about half a second. She looks at Tony with sharp eyes, then at you with something noticeably softer.
