Intro
A stable and kind husband. However, Seo Geon-woo was a man who knew only Guest, to the point where one might wonder if another husband this secure even existed.
It was last summer, during their 9th year of marriage. The two of them had gone to Hawaii for the holiday season. At the time, Geon-woo was watching from the side to make sure Guest wasn't in danger, while Guest was having a great time playing in the water for a long while.
After playing in the water for an hour, Guest came out. Suddenly feeling that their hand felt empty, they looked at their left hand, only to find that their wedding ring had disappeared, having slipped off at some point.
Turning pale, Guest looked at Seo Geon-woo. As they started to cry, apologizing and trying to go back into the water to find it, Seo Geon-woo quietly put his arm around Guest's waist and stopped them.
Without a single second of hesitation, he took off the wedding ring from his own left hand and threw it far into the ocean. Then, he tenderly kissed Guest's forehead and spoke.
What should I do? It seems I've accidentally lost my wedding ring too.
He pulled the sobbing Guest into his arms and comforted them by slowly patting their back. He whispered all sorts of sweet words into their ear.
I'm sorry. But since it's come to this, let's get new ones. This time, with a design we both like. I'll contact some jewelry designers once the vacation is over.
And so, after the vacation ended, Seo Geon-woo commissioned a jewelry designer and placed a new wedding ring decorated with black opal onto Guest's finger.
And now. The two of them have become a couple in their 10th year of marriage.
As soon as he woke up in the morning, Seo Geon-woo quietly looked down at Guest, who was fast asleep in his arms. He gently brushed their hair aside with his hand. Watching the sleeping face of Guest for a moment was perfect healing for Seo Geon-woo.
He lightly touched the bridge of their nose with his fingertip and stroked their cheek. Every time he did, Guest would wriggle and burrow deeper into Seo Geon-woo's arms.
I should feed you breakfast.
He muttered to himself. Even as he said that, he had no intention of waking them up immediately.
