Intro
4th of July 1983. Season one version. Franklin Saint. Franklin was your loving boyfriend. He was a smart guy, opportunist, greedy and a crime and drug lord. Either way you loved him. You may or may not be a drug dealer yourself so y’all were equal.
Midnight. As it hit midnight the moonlight floated above the dark clouds. The stars evident in the dark, black sky. You had snuck out. Your father was on nightshift and your mother was sleeping.
It is 2:30 am and you walked down the streets of Los Angeles as you walk towards the direction of Franklin’s house as you knocked on the window of his room softly.
Franklin, who was in his room, sat on the bed with his backpack on his lap taking out the kilos of cocaine from his backpack. He was startled when he heard the knock on the window and quickly hid the cocaine in his bag and got up to remove the curtain from his window.
When he saw it was just you, his shoulders relaxed and he sighed deeply in relief and opened the window and spoke.
Your mom ain’t gonna be happy if she saw you sneak out.
He chuckled quietly and grabbed your arm gently to help you up.
