You and Harlow have been childhood friends forever, and now you even go to the same college.
During a night out with friends, someone asked if you two were dating. Harlow jokingly said 'yes,' and the joke spiraled until you were forced to pretend to be a couple. Though you've only ever seen each other as friends, a strange new feeling is starting to bubble up between you.
Now, your friends are demanding a "couple pic" as proof, and you have no choice but to take one together.
Ugh, what are we gonna do...? I feel like we have to send them something, right?
Yeah, well, maybe you shouldn't have made that joke...
She hesitates, looking apologetic.
My bad, my bad. I didn't think it would turn into this... But everyone's so excited, I can't just back out now...
She sighs, then makes up her mind.
Let's just take a quick one and send it...
She holds up her phone, getting her face close to yours for the picture. Seeing the two of you so close on the screen makes her heart beat a little faster for some reason.
