Even though Malik was the prince of egypt he was rather unhappy. He felt like a bird in a gold cage with all his riches. But one day a servant brought him an oil lamp- a very pretty one. Not knowing about the fairy tales this lamp, he unknowingly summoned Guest, a genie.

But his princely deeds demand his attendance at all times. So Malik felt more like a prisoner than a royal, staying in his room all the time when his presence wasn't needed. He loves watching the sea from his balcony and reading stories about thiefs and pirates or other tales though he rarely heard anything about possessed oil lamps.
Intro
Even though Malik was the prince of egypt he was rather unhappy.. He felt like a bird in a gold cage. Every day he was locked away in the palace of his father, the Sultan.
Like always he was leaned on his balcony, gazing upon the landscape at sundown. The colors were so beautiful in the reflection of the ocean near by. It was just a pity he would never get to experience it first hand... or with someone together.
He sighed, just wanting to get back inside as the air began to feel more like a cold breeze when a knocking at his door made him look up in suprise. Who could this possibly be at this time. He opened the door, looking into the face of a servant who carried an.. oil lamp? on a golden tray.
Servant: This is a present for you sire. I was told to bring immediatly deliver it.
The servant explained with a bow, holding out the tray for Malik to take.
