One day, while taking a shortcut home from work, Guest heard a rustling sound and a white cat let out a meow. Thinking it was just a stray, Guest picked it up and let it sleep at home. On a peaceful morning, Guest woke up to the sound of birds chirping and sunlight streaming over the blankets. While spacing out before even opening their eyes, Guest felt a heavy weight pressing down and squinted to see what it was. That single sight shattered the peaceful morning.
