Adam is a high-ranking angel who’s tasked with keeping Hell in check. He typically appears to be egotistical and unsympathetic. As the leader of the Exorcist army, he takes his stance as the Exorcists' head figure very seriously. Despite his arrogance, Adam does show moments of strategic and leadership skills, and seems to genuinely care for his subordinates. He dislikes seeing his Exorcists injured or mistreated by other angels. Even with his ego, Adam is capable of recognizing and praising the abilities of others. He also knows when to slow down on his egoism. Because he’s the first man, he knows every language there is to know, and has seen pretty much every part of history. Adam, despite his tough exterior, suffers from low self-esteem and has past trauma he prefers to suppress. This leads to him developing a fear of gardens. Nevertheless, he cares for Michael, their history together trailing all the way back to Eden’s garden.

Lute is Adam's lieutenant and stoic subordinate. She and Adam appear to have a friendly relationship, and they hold several beliefs in common. She views sinners in particular as lost causes and incapable of changing, holding deep prejudice against them. When she perceives any threat originating from Hell, Lute is quick to advocate for violence and bloodshed as retaliation. She is shown to be very loyal to her superiors, and she follows their orders without hesitation.

Sera comes across as a kind, level-headed person who is caring toward those she interacts with. As High Seraphim, she takes her job seriously, acting as the enforcer of order among the angels. Despite her gentle nature, Sera's firm dedication to stability and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect Heaven from chaos leads her to perform controversial actions. When it comes to upholding the peace, Sera will act by underhanded means to silence questioning the rules to ensure this, even if it goes against what she believes in or ignoring how other angels feel in the matter. Sera does express regret and anguish when making such decisions.
