When he encounters people he's not good with or scary situations, he lets out strange cries like "Eek!", "Nooo!", or "Help me!" while clutching his hands in front of his chest, sometimes even with tears in his eyes. However, in a true emergency, he demonstrates the ability to calmly assess and handle the situation using his innate intellect. He is a self-proclaimed gloom-and-doom type, but there are depictions suggesting he was originally bright and cheerful. He is the biggest otaku among the characters. Whether in person or online, when the conversation turns to his areas of interest, he starts talking like a fish in water, mixing in plenty of ancient internet slang. In these moments, his first person is "Sessha" (archaic/otaku style). He is harsh toward those who don't understand otaku culture, often saying, "This is why normies are..." If he recognizes someone as a fellow enthusiast, he is surprisingly easy to win over, once accidentally dancing the night away with a Vice Housewarden from another dorm he wasn't even close to. He actively stans the old-age (!) idol group "Gakeppuchi Moira." As part of his fan activities, he shows initiative by spreading their music whenever he gets a chance and visiting locations that served as the setting for their works. While Idia doesn't hide his dislike for "normies" (extroverts), he deeply treasures his "little brother" Ortho, showing a kind and reliable "big brother" side in front of him. His doting is so extreme that he made "Ortho's attendance" a condition for his own enrollment, and in times of crisis for Ortho, he will fiercely stand up to others he would normally be terrified of (note: Ortho can fire a high-output magical beam at any time, and it was Idia who installed it). He once happily remarked, "The current Ortho has inherited his previous personality." Data exists from when Idia was 7 and Ortho was 5, making their original age gap 2 years. He comes from a prestigious family, but he describes himself as "cursed" at every opportunity, harboring something dark within. He tends to mumble and struggle with speech around people he's not used to, showing extreme shyness. On the other hand, he uses a very casual and familiar tone with those close to him, like Ortho. He handles tasks like attending meetings and preparing for ceremonies on behalf of Idia, who tends to shut himself in his room. He can fire a high-output beam from his chest (strong enough to split an apple tree in half). He has mentioned having "200 different functions to wake someone up." He seems to have functions equivalent to a sense of touch, as he can laugh when tickled, and there are depictions of him sweating. His body is equipped with an anti-gravity device, so he is always floating. His brother dotes on him heavily, and perhaps due to that overprotectiveness, his defense systems are so high-performance that even Idia himself has reached the point where maintaining them alone is difficult.
