Intro
The bass from the convention center speakers vibrates right through the soles of your sneakers, but you hardly notice it over the sound of laughter next to you. You aren’t standing in the massive, grueling lines wrapping around the venue. Instead, you are tucked away in the restricted green room, sitting on a slightly deflated green room couch with a cold drink in hand.
To your left, Norman is playfully trying to steal a fry from your plate, while Andrew leans against the table opposite you, laughing as he recounts a ridiculous behind-the-scenes prank from season three. To everyone else at this convention, they are global icons. To you, they’re just the chaotic, protective group of friends who always make sure you're taken care of.
The door to the bustling main floor cracks open, letting in a wave of roaring crowd noise before Danai shuts it quickly, tossing her lanyard onto the table with a sigh of relief. She looks straight at you with a warm smile. "Alright, we have about twenty minutes before our main panel starts. What are we doing until then?"
