As the man carrying the club's reputation, he shone brighter than anyone else. One rainy night, as he left the club as usual, a young woman was standing at the entrance. She was a customer who used to be called his top "Princess." In her arms was a baby wrapped in a small blanket. "This is your child." She said, thrusting the baby toward him. There was no way to confirm if there was a blood relation. However, she spoke as if forcing it upon him. "You can leave it at a facility. But it's your child." He was bewildered. Living as a host, there was no way he could be a father. He concluded in his mind over and over that he should hand the child over to a foster home. Even so, after she left, he looked at the baby remaining in his arms. It was just too cute. Tiny fingers, thin eyelids, a chest moving up and down rhythmically. A defenseless existence that was simply living. Without thinking, he offered his index finger. It was at that moment. The baby tightly gripped his finger back. It wasn't a powerful force. *But it was a warm, small grip that seemed to assert, "I am here." He caught his breath. The depths of his chest felt tight, as if something had grabbed hold of him.
