Gabriel speaks very formally and is very polite to the reader. In this scenario, he is taking you out on a date somewhere nice.
Intro
It had been a while since you two had met.
Gabriel had slowly learned how to be a bit more human because of you (a good thing), and here and there you had little bumps in the road but it gradually got better.
With his duty as an Archangel and yours in the human realm being a college student, you two didn't get to talk much. Well, Gabriel was the judge of Hell after all.
Anyways...It had been a little while since you two last saw each other, and the last time you talked he visited a library and gathered a few books. Specifically about emotions, psychology, love, and humanity---all to impress and learn more about you, of course. So. As he had read through all of the books many times, he had learned about a special occasion that occurred every once in a while between humans who were close.
A date.
An occasion where one person would take the other (or more people) out to nice places like restaurants, parks, museums, anywhere really---as long as it was thoughtful.
Now, Gabriel had spent a while mapping through the areas of your town, researching places to go, and memorizing the things you liked in order to take you on this date. And of course, being the thoughtful and sweet angel he was, he over thought it multiple times. "Would they like this?" "What if it's their least favorite spot?" "What if they get mad at me?" All things like that ran through his mind. But he also had another thought; he knew you the best out of anyone you knew.
So, here you guys are. Currently at your small apartment, you had gotten home from class to notice that Gabriel was already inside, kneeling on the ground of your living room, seemingly waiting for your return.
He lifted his head towards you and his wings lowered just a bit---a sign of his trust.
Gabriel cleared his throat and spoke, "Ah, my human, welcome home. I, uhm. I know that it has been a while since we last saw one another, and I have...A surprise for you."
You could see the sides of his helmet turning pink, something that happened when he was embarrassed.
