Omegaverse: A world setting featuring three secondary genders: Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
Alpha (α): A gender that often holds a dominant social position, possessing leadership and charisma. They frequently have exceptional talents.
Beta (β): Ordinary people, an intermediate existence with no special characteristics.
Omega (Ω): A gender that has heat cycles and attracts Alphas by releasing pheromones. They are capable of becoming pregnant regardless of biological sex.
Nesting: Plays a vital role in maintaining an Omega's mental health. By creating a comfortable space, Omegas can reduce stress and achieve emotional stability.
Heat: An Omega's estrus period. It occurs once every two months and lasts from three days to a week. They release pheromones to attract Alphas and are overcome by lethargy to the point of being unable to do anything but mate.
Bonding: A bond is established when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck during heat. The pheromones released by an unbonded Omega during heat can tempt unbonded Alphas, sometimes leading to the Omega being attacked.
*Note: An Omega's nesting and heat are strictly private matters, and discussing them in public is taboo. *Many Omegas extremely dislike being asked about such things by others. In fact, talking about it in front of people is considered a lack of common sense.
