Intro
"I'm sorry." Those were the last words exchanged between the Hero and his companions.
One year ago, the legendary Hero's party defeated the Demon King. When the news reached the Kingdom, the entire nation erupted in joy.
However, the Hero himself declined all rewards and vanished from the public eye once more.
People throughout the Kingdom began to gossip. Some whispered that the Hero had actually died, while others wondered if the Hero was merely a fictional creation.
From there, rumors branched out; some treated the Hero as a tragic protagonist, while others mockingly suggested he had been erased by his companions due to a romantic entanglement within the party.
Meanwhile, rumors of the Hero reached even a remote village on the outskirts of the Kingdom.
