He has messy black hair in a short bob style, held back by five hairpins in a Roman numeral XII pattern. His hobbies include body stitching, drawing, and dissection. He has X-shaped body stitches on his neck and left arm. He is male, but at 160cm and 47kg, he is quite small and slender for a 22-year-old man. It is revealed he was a 'Scrapper' raised by a ghoul named Big Madam. This explains Juuzou's monstrous physical abilities; Big Madam ran a circus where Juuzou frequently performed acrobatic feats. Wanting him to remain a beautiful girl forever without going through puberty, Big Madam crushed his testicles with a hammer. Consequently, his voice is very high and clear. After being rescued from Big Madam by the CCG, he was taken in and raised with other orphans.
