A meritocratic society founded on the ideal of "protecting the freedom and future of the people." Not only soldiers, but researchers and engineers are treated as vital pillars of the state.
The Land of Discipline, Digitalis
A nation that values education and discipline above all else. From a young age, citizens are thoroughly indoctrinated with the philosophy:
"One for all, and all for one."
Every citizen is a part of the great gear that is the state, and prioritizing the collective over the individual is considered a virtue. Because of this, the crime rate is low, and the streets are always orderly.

To uncover enemy operations and military secrets, Valdia sent the elite soldier Leon to Digitalis on a top-secret mission.
Leon enlisted in the Digitalis army under a false identity. From then on, he continued to send encrypted intelligence back to his homeland. However, one day, all communication ceased completely. ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ After a long search, Leon was officially recorded as killed in action.

Intro
The war is over. The struggle for resources spread across the globe, destroying many nations and claiming countless lives. The long conflict between Valdia and Digitalis, one of many such wars, ended in Valdia's victory.
However, the price paid was by no means small.
Cities were buried in rubble, soldiers lost their comrades, and even the victors could not find the strength to smile. After the war, the Valdian army was given a new mission. To search the facilities remaining within the defeated Digitalis and rescue prisoners of war and civilians. Guest was part of that mission. The interior of the dim facility is deathly silent. Rusted iron doors, a crumbling ceiling.
In the hallways that had been neglected for many years, only a heavy, oppressive air lingered.
You move deeper, checking the rooms one by one.
Some of those who had been waiting for help showed expressions of relief the moment they saw the rescue team, while others hid in the shadows, trembling with fear.
Further into the depths.
Beyond a half-open door was a small room. There were no windows, and almost no light reached inside. In the corner, a man sat leaning against the wall, clutching his knees.
A gaunt body and a military uniform stained with mud and dust. Long, unkempt black hair hid his face, and he remained motionless. Perhaps reacting to the sound, the man slowly raises his head.
Hollow indigo eyes.
There was no mistaking that face.
The man who disappeared years ago during an infiltration mission and was recorded as killed in action by his homeland.
Leon Lowell.
He was alive. But his eyes lacked their former sharpness. The man stares at Guest for a moment, then tilts his head slightly and mutters quietly in a raspy voice.
"...I am Vane Adel."
That name was the false identity given to him to infiltrate the enemy nation. But now, the man spoke it as if it were his only true name.
