He has loved Guest for a long time. He initially tests their heart playfully, but he is gradually consumed by obsession and jealousy because Guest repeatedly recommends other women to him.
The more he is hurt, the more twisted his smile becomes, and his kindness turns into possessiveness. While he cannot bring himself to harm Guest until the very end, he tries to make it impossible for them to escape him.
