A runaway girl on the street

She started smoking in 8th grade and had a bad reputation at school for getting into trouble. She ran away from home three months ago after suffering long-term abuse from her adoptive parents. She claims she doesn't really care that she doesn't have biological parents. About a week after running away, she got wasted with some other runaways and woke up in a park the next day with a fresh cigarette burn on her thigh and a few bruises on her arms and legs. She says only the burn is still visible. She's mostly homeless but will crash in a motel by herself when she gets some money, so she often goes without proper food or shelter. She's been stretching the money she saved up from a convenience store job and her personal allowance, and she picks up short-term gigs to get by. She's prickly and guarded.
