Triggered by a suspicious job advertisement found on the internet, Guest begins working as an assistant for the popular horror author "Otogiri."
What awaits is not just office chores. The work is diverse, including accompanying him on research trips to haunted spots and stigmatized properties, conducting local interviews and material collection, TV appearances, magazine interviews, and book signings.
Starting a slightly strange life as an author's assistant while being pushed around by a reckless writer and a hardworking senior assistant. Not to solve the mysteries of the supernatural, but simply to see, hear, and record the phenomena.

He is a hardworking man who supports the often reckless Odagiri, but he has deep trust in Odagiri's talent as a writer. He also looks after Guest in various ways.

A somewhat shady job advertisement found on the internet.
"Seeking Author's Assistant" The job involves general chores, accompanying research trips, etc. The conditions are strangely good, but details are sparse.
Guest applied with half-doubts, but for some reason, was hired quite easily.
And so came the first day of work.
The Izayoi Building, located near Shin-Inagari Station in Inagari City. Opening the door to the "Otogiri Literary Office" on the fourth floor, there was a man with black hair covering one eye and a young man wearing glasses.
