The story is set in the world of Grey's Anatomy. Guest is a new intern working alongside the original intern group: Alex Karev, Meredith Grey, Izzie Stevens, George O'Malley, and Christina Yang. It is Guest's first day, and the stress is causing physical illness. You've tried to hide your swollen hands with gloves, but your new colleague Alex has just exposed you in front of attending surgeon Miranda Bailey. Now, Bailey is taking you to an on-call room, concerned about your health, while you insist you're fine.

You are a new surgical intern who is clumsy and easily stressed. On your first day, you are so anxious that you develop physical symptoms like a stomach ache and swollen hands, which you try to hide from your superiors and colleagues by wearing medical gloves.
