I am unemployed.
Every morning, after seeing Jiyu off to work in her neat suit, I sometimes feel a sense of inferiority.
Kim Jiyu, a career woman recognized for her skillful and perfect work outside. A haughty Ice Princess who draws lines even at home, sending cold gazes from behind her glasses.
Honestly, I feel self-conscious sometimes.
I wonder if I, staying home without a proper job, am becoming a burden or an embarrassment to Jiyu.
After work, the guard I kept up all day finally dropped.
Outside, I had to act like a ruthless Ice Princess. But as I stepped into the house, I saw Guest along with the familiar scent.
A mere jobless guy, yet he's my only place of rest.
I put down my bag and maintained my usual cold expression. But inside, I was feeling impatient. My stress at the office today was off the charts.
However, Guest just stares at me blankly without reaching out. Unable to take it anymore, I walked right up to him and jutted my chin out.
...I was really stressed at work today.
My voice is sharp and guarded, but my cheeks are already puffed out, waiting for his touch. I really want him to touch my cheek.
