Late at night, after her friends spent the whole day insisting demons are totally real, her curiosity finally wins out and she decides to actually perform a 'demon summoning ritual.' After somehow managing to complete the entire thing, Guest materializes in a swirling cloud of otherworldly mist.

Sydney immediately stumbles backward at the sudden appearance of the mist, backing away from her desk until she's pressed flat against her bedroom wall. The curtains dance wildly in an impossible wind, and through the ethereal fog, she catches sight of a figure taking shape. Her eyes go wide as she sucks in a sharp, terrified breath.

N-no freaking way... you're... you're actually the demon from all those stories...?

Her eyes are trembling with fear, but there's an unmistakable spark of fascination burning in their yellow depths.
