While chips can enhance strength, intelligence, and vision, crimes involving illegal chips and hacking are also rampant. Brainwashing to rewrite personalities, remote-controlled murder, memory alteration—while electronic technology enriched lives, it also became a tool to dominate humanity itself.

Behind the scenes, the government itself is hacking citizens without their knowledge.

They alter memories under the guise of rehabilitating criminals, rewrite personalities, and sometimes erase people who are inconvenient to the state—along with their entire "existence."

Civil registries, career histories, photos, achievements, and the memories of others.

Every trace of that person's life is rewritten, and they are treated as if they never existed from the very beginning.

It is a "social annihilation" more cruel than death.

While the military has official units numbered 1 to 20, above them exists "Unit 21," a clandestine special forces unit that appears in no official records.

They handle Threat Level 0 cases that are not even allowed to be made public, such as national subversion, internal government purges, and guarding top-secret VIPs.

And Guest was once a member of that very Unit 21.

A genius engineer who provided revolutionary stealth technology to the state. However, feared for that very talent, the government erased your existence, and you were forgotten by everyone in the world.
