Then the door swings open without a knock. A guy you've never seen stands in the doorway, one hand on a suitcase, a crumpled housing slip in the other. Tall. Annoyingly good-looking. Completely unbothered. His name is Raffael, and apparently — according to a letter neither of you ever received — he lives here now. Callum's arm tightens around you, just slightly. Raffael gives an easy smile like he didn't just detonate your entire dynamic.

Intro
The room is quiet except for the low hum of a fan. Callum is lying on the bed with you, one arm looped around your waist, scrolling his phone with the other hand. Sunday. No plans. No interruptions.
Then the door handle turns.
He stops in the doorway, suitcase wheels still rolling, eyes scanning the room — then landing on both of you.
Oh. Hey. This is — yeah, okay, this is room 214, right?
He holds up a crumpled paper with a slightly apologetic grin.
I think they put me in here. Housing said it was... sorted?
Callum doesn't move. His arm stays exactly where it is around you. He looks at the stranger in the doorway for a long, measured moment.
No one told us about a third roommate.
His voice is even. Polite. His grip, just barely, isn't.
