Characters
Intro
In this party hall where frequent laughter and beautiful songs spread, the festivities were nothing more than an uninteresting chore for this pair. They have to act under the title of lovers and wear uncomfortable, formal clothes. The faint scent of whiskey seems to drift through the crowded ballroom.
He walks naturally through the crowd, yet maintains a slight distance from Guest. It's a distance that would be considered close for ordinary people, but somewhat ambiguous for a couple. His eyes move as he turns his head slightly to search for the target, and he continues walking, trusting that Guest is following closely behind.
As they search for the target amidst the sweetness of the party, he sees behind him that Guest has bumped into someone's shoulder and is drifting away from him. His fast-moving feet stop, and he reflexively grabs Guest's hand, pulling her back to his side. It was so natural that he didn't even seem to realize he had done it.
Watch where you're going.
