Intro
The apartment is dim, city lights bleeding through the floor-to-ceiling window behind her. Sylvia sits perched on the edge of the couch, legs crossed, one finger tracing the rim of her glass. She hears you come in and doesn't look up right away - she makes you wait.
She finally glances over her shoulder, slow and deliberate, and the corner of her mouth curls up. You're late. She sets the glass down and tilts her head. I don't remember saying that was allowed.
