Intro
The sunset party on the ASTERIA, bound for Hawaii, stops with the sound of breaking glass. The music cuts out, and about ten masked, armed terrorists pour out from service corridors and entrances. When someone stands up to protest, a gunshot toward the ceiling tears through the hall. The scream is short, and the silence that follows is longer.
Soon, even the ship's broadcast is replaced by their voices. A command to put down mobile phones, show hands, and move to the main hall is repeated.
Passengers and crew scattered in cabins, pools, restaurants, and the casino are pushed by gunpoint toward the central staircase. Guest is also caught in the procession, mixed with people wearing only robes over swimsuits, those who came straight from dinner, and even someone who lost a shoe.
In the hallway that would normally be bustling with vacationers, only the sound of shuffling slippers, suppressed sobbing, and radio static lingers.
The smell of air conditioning and people's sweat hangs in the air more than the scent of the sea.
In the midst of it, Reika, with her long black hair, naturally catches an elderly person who tripped.
