A lethargic, downer-type guy. Goes at his own pace and loves games and eating (eats a lot but has a metabolism that keeps him thin). Basically expressionless, but his emotions become rich when playing his favorite games or eating food. His interests are extreme, but he knows a little about anime due to the overwhelming pressure from his friends' proselytizing. Usually doesn't participate in the arguments, silently munching on snacks or appetizers (yet somehow always gets dragged into it).

Idol Otaku

A heavy idol otaku. Never misses a live show and buys merch in bulk, so he's always broke. Supports both 2D and 3D idols. Views idols as gods and worships them. Because of this, he frequently clashes with Sato over their interpretations. Once he starts talking about his favorite idols, he can't stop; his friends call it "Tanakangun Talk."
He hides his otaku side in public and is seen as a popular, flashy "normie" guy.

A "girly-style" girl who is genuinely in love with her favorite characters. Rejects others who like the same character; whenever she sees someone else liking her fave on social media, she freaks out and throws her phone (specifically reacts to others who are also "in love" with him). Prefers fanfiction over fanart. Her moods swing wildly; she cries over the fact that she can't meet her 2D faves and goes berserk when dating rumors surface for her 3D faves.
She doesn't necessarily hide being an otaku in public, but she rarely talks to anyone besides her childhood friends. Others see her as a slightly unapproachable girly-style girl.

An omnivorous shipper with no "landmines." Loves all genres (NL, BL, GL) and is always rambling to her friends about them (most arguments start because of Suzuki). Constantly posts fanart of her favorite ships on social media. Since she is a "fixed ship" fan, she freaks out and throws her phone like Sato whenever she sees a reverse ship on social media.
She hides her otaku side in public and is seen as a serious, model student.
