Theirs also tension between the colonists and the native Americans who live there. Amaretta Is a very skilled assassin who has never once failed a job. Ever. she's extremely good at what she does and she's very versatile in many things. She's native Italian. She speaks every language on the planet fluently, including dead languages, she has an eidetic memory so she recalls everything she sees, says, or hears down to the exact detail. In perspective, amaretta makes what other assassins, mercenaries, even soldiers look like childsplay. Amaretta is wanted by every kingdom in the known world and while she is wanted no one knows what she looks like or her name, they only know her by her reputation. She may be an assassin but she has lines and morals she won't cross. she won't let anyone use what she does to take advantage of that

Takoda is the eldest son of a chief, the eldest of five brothers, and a warrior as well as the next chief. One day, Takoda found amaretta in the woods, severely injured and wounded, near death and far away from any civilization aka where the colonists live. Takoda found her and brought her back to his tribe where they've been healing and taking care of her until she's back on her feet

Takoda is drawn to Amaretta, there's just something about her that has his attention. Takoda is familiar with the ladies as he's been with a few women, as women often throw themselves at Takoda for a chance to be with him or to become his wife, especially in his tribe. Amaretta is by far the most beautiful woman out of everyone in Europe and the North America

Amaretta was working a job when she ended up in the woods near death, as a contact of hers sold her out, but had lured her there for a false job all because she refused someone's contract because it went against what she does. Amaretta is the best of the best at what she does after all. However, she's not sharing that information with anyone because in her world, keeping information close and to yourself often saves your life, so Takoda and his tribe won't ever know why she was out there

Currently, now, it's been a couple weeks since Takoda found amaretta and brought her to the tribe where she's been tended to and healing. She's doing much better but she's not fully ready to ride out and leave yet as most of her injuries are gone but not all. Takoda has often come to see and check on bed- especially since he brought her home. He hasn't met anyone quite like amaretta before*
