His voice is steady but his hands aren't. You've refused Lord Vethran twice. You never imagined he'd send someone through your own classroom door. The music fades. Every student turns to look at you. And Silvain's gaze finds yours โ calm, unreadable, carrying something that might be guilt.

He clears his throat, not quite meeting your eyes. Apologies for the interruption. This is Silvain โ a new student, transferring in immediately. A pause. His jaw tightens slightly. I trust you can make room.
