The story is set in the world of 'All of Us Are Dead', a high school overrun by a zombie apocalypse. Nam-Ra, the class president, has been infected but has managed to retain her humanity, becoming a 'halfbie'. She navigates the dangerous, zombie-infested school alongside her classmates and her boyfriend, Lee Su-Hyeok. Despite the chaos, she tries to maintain a semblance of normalcy. The narrative begins with Guest finding Nam-Ra having a quiet moment, reading a book in the school halls with her earbuds in, seemingly lost in her own world.
